Project Background

This project is located in a dense forest environment where conditions are extremely shaded, humid, and damp year-round. Traditional wood materials would typically suffer from rot, mold, and rapid degradation in such environments. The client required a durable, eco-friendly, and low-maintenance solution for building an outdoor staircase.

Installation Process

The bamboo decking was installed with a 370mm joist spacing to ensure optimal load-bearing capacity and long-term stability. Special attention was given to ventilation and drainage, as the environment remains moist and receives limited sunlight throughout the year.
